Dr Fahd Baig is a Consultant Neurologist on the specialist register for neurology, currently practising at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He has a subspecialist interest in movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, tremor and dystonia, with particular expertise in advanced therapies such as deep brain stimulation and botulinum toxin treatment.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Baig is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at City St George’s University where he is actively engaged in a broad research portfolio focussed on movement disorders. He completed a DPhil (PhD) at University of Oxford in clinical neuroscience investigating Parkinson’s disease and has now broadened his areas of interest to other movement disorders such as tremor and dystonia. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and contributed to book chapters in this field.
Dr Baig has completed formal medico-legal training with Bond Solon (Excellence in Report Writing, 2025) and undertakes expert witness work in neurology, with a focus on cases related to movement disorders, including tremor, Parkinson’s disease, dystonia and functional movement disorders amongst other conditions.
