Dr Baker is a consultant neurologist with a specialist interest in epilepsy and cognitive neurology / dementia.
He has completed Bond Solon training on Excellence in Report Writing. Dr Baker completed his PhD at the University of Exeter where his research focused on epileptic amnesia and epileptic seizures in people with dementia. After completing his neurology training, he worked at the Dementia Research Centre at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
Since 2022 he has been a consultant neurologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS trust where his caseload includes a mixture of inpatient and outpatient general neurology as well as outpatient clinics in epilepsy and neurofibromatosis. His clinical work in epilepsy ranges from first -seizure presentations, to more longstanding complex epilepsy and functional seizures.
