Dr Nikos Evangelou is an Associate Professor of Neurology at Nottingham University and has been a consultant neurologist for 20 years with active clinical practice in general neurology and Neuro-inflammation.
He completed his DPhil in Oxford and has continued his research on MS and traumatic brain injury ever since.
Dr Evangelou has his research group based at the University of Nottingham and is the Chief and Principal Investigator for a number of clinical trials.
Dr Evangelou is currently research active in neuroimaging, clinical trials and symptom management in Multiple Sclerosis.
He is currently the coordinator of the Nottingham MS clinical team with clinical responsibility for 4000 patients with MS in the East Midlands, UK. He has produced medicolegal reports since 2005 and he has worked with the crown prosecution on a number of criminal cases and has given evidence in Crown Court on a number of occasions.
